25x25 Update

#5: I am slowly starting to be able to drink beer.  We went out to dinner the other night and I ordered one with my burger, and also drank one at home last weekend.  I think the key for me has to be sticking to specific brand and getting used to things one at a time.

#9: Two down, one to go!  Around Christmas we made Peppermint & Bailey's Punch, which was really delicious.  This month we also bought some different liquors and are experimenting, and one of our first tries was Midori Melonade.  I enjoyed it, hubs liked it better with pineapple vodka (I used plain Smirnoff vodka).

#10: While I haven't been keeping count of this specifically, I do feel like I am doing a lot better.

#13: I am definitely making progress in this area.  I feel like I'm gaining confidence and becoming a bit more courageous when it comes to trying out outfits.  I can honestly say that I have come up with outfits/accessories/looks that I really feel work for both my personality and body type.  It's a really nice feeling to honestly be able to say that I am comfortable with my appearance.

#18: My Bible reading has definitely increased, especially with the Scripture & Faith Challenge.  There is a bit of a setback though- I've lost the notebook that I was writing my notes down in :(  I'm really upset about it, but truthfully I wasn't too terribly far in (still early in Genesis) so I'm thinking about just starting again.  I need to stop letting this setback completely ruin my progress, and I can always add the pages together if when I find them later.

#28: I haven't been doing the best with this, but I've been doing a little more through work and with some friends.  So it is at least more than what I was doing, which is nothing.

#29: I have been doing pretty well on this :)  Normally it's Starbucks, not gonna lie!  But it's also been a few crafty things, or decorations for the house, etc.

#30: I came up with a cleaning schedule.  Printed it out, put it on clear display...and haven't stuck to it.  Oh well.  Trying right?

  2. You've been doing so well! I have a cleaning schedule too. I don't always follow it but writing it down is half the battle! :)
